To be eligible for a Swedish student visa (residence permit for studies), you need to fulfill the following criteria:
Acceptance by a Swedish University: You must have received an official offer of admission from a Swedish university for a full-time course.
Proof of Financial Support: You need to demonstrate that you can financially support yourself during your stay. As of 2024, the required amount is approximately SEK 9,450 per month (about €890). Scholarships or student loans may also be considered as proof.
